Arrivederci Rome, Buongiorno Florence

We left Rome via the speedy train at 8:30 and arrived a little after 10. We got to the hostel, and let me tell you, this place is amazing. To get to our room of 6 girls, we have to go outside onto a terrace that overlooks a green, breezy area. Our beds are super comfy, as opposed to the ones in Rome. On the before mentioned terrace is a few chairs, benches, and tables with umbrellas. If you are to go below to the level under and to the left of us, the opportunity to sit under the trees is also available. We plan on having many evening drinking wine out here.
So far, Florence is infinitely better than Rome in terms of getting around and being a visitor to the city. I loved Rome's history and remains, but Florence is so much cooler and relaxed. We went to a market right when we got here. It has a countless amount of shops on the street as well as a food market complete with octopus and flowers. I actually bought a big, leather purse there. I love it! It's my favorite color, coral. After, we took a casual stroll through some of the city and saw the Douma, a huge cathedral, and the statue of David. We're getting a guided tour of the city tomorrow after the free breakfast at the hostel. Tonight, were eating at the restaurant in the hostel. €2.50 for a margarita pizza and €3 for pasta! Decisions decisions! After that, were chillin on the terrace. Can't wait!
